The Statue of Liberty, also known as Liberty Illuminates the World, is a gift from France to the United States for the 100th anniversary of its independence in 1876. The Statue of Liberty in the United States is located near the mouth of the Hudson River in New York City, New York, and is an important tourist attraction on Liberty Island, where the statue is located. The Statue of Liberty in the United States is based on the Statue of Liberty in the Luxembourg Gardens of Paris, France. The famous French sculptor Bartholdi completed the sculpture work in 10 years of hard work. The appearance of the goddess was designed by the sculptor’s mother, and the right hand of the goddess holding the torch high It is based on the arm of the sculptor's wife. The Lady Liberty is dressed in ancient Greek-style clothing, and the crown on her head has seven pointed awns that symbolize the seven continents and four oceans of the world.

Bartholdi was inspired by the French law professor and politician Laboulaye. He is said to have made a comment in 1865 that any monument to increase the independence of the United States is a joint plan of the French and American people. Due to the instability of France after the war, construction of the statue did not begin until the early 1870s. In 1875, Laboulaye proposed that France fund the statue, while the United States provided the statue and built the pedestal. Before the statue was completely designed, Bartholdi completed the head and torch arms, and these works were promoted at the international fair.

Construction began in 1874. In 1876, when Bartholdi participated in an exposition celebrating the 100th anniversary of independence in Philadelphia, in order to attract public attention, the torch-bearer of the Statue of Liberty was exhibited at the exposition, which caused a sensation. The hand that is placed in front of people is 2.44 meters long with only the index finger and more than 1 meter in diameter. It is a rare art treasure. As a result, this little-known sculpture a few days ago was worth a hundred times as much, and it became an artistic treasure that Americans longed to appreciate. Soon, the U.S. Congress passed a resolution formally approving the president's request to accept the statue of the goddess, and at the same time identified Bedero Island as the location for the statue of the goddess. The Statue of Liberty was completely completed in 1884, which lasted ten years. On July 6, the Statue of Liberty was officially announced as a gift to the United States.

The Statue of Liberty is a statue of the robbed Roman Libertas. She held the torch on top of her head with her right hand, and with Roman numerals in her left hand titled "JULY IV MDCCLXXVI" (July 4, 1776), which was the date of the United States Declaration of Independence. As she walked forward, a broken sha lock and chain hung on her foot to commemorate the recent abolition of slavery across the country. The statue became a symbol of freedom and the United States, and became a tourist attraction in the national park. For more than a century, the bronze statue of the Statue of Liberty standing on Liberty Island has become a symbol of the friendship between the American nation and the American and French people, and will always express the American people's lofty ideals of fighting for democracy and yearning for freedom. Passengers on ships entering New York Harbor can see the standing Statue of Liberty holding up the torch of freedom. For thousands of immigrants who came to the United States, the Statue of Liberty was a guarantee to escape the poverty and oppression of the old world, and the Statue of Liberty became a symbol of the United States.
